I support our members and the larger business community to engage with others and promote their business through member benefits, programs and events. Prior to joining the Chamber in August 2021, I worked in the entertainment industry in client relations, marketing, and event management. Originally from Saskatchewan, I love spending time outdoors enjoying all the beauty the Okanagan valley has to offer with my little fam!

Merging a passion for a sustainable community and purpose for business development, my role supports our members through connection, recognition, and information sharing. As a marketing and business development professional I look forward to continuing the exceptional standard of events and programming the Chamber is known for. With my roots in the Shuswap and wings in the Okanagan, I hold great appreciation for the area we get to call home. Outside of the office I can be found cheering for my two boys at the rink, supporting my daughter in dance, exploring our beautiful outdoors (bike, skis, paddleboard) or taking in the local music scene at a brewery or winery. I look forward to connecting with you at the next event!

Mangla (M) Bansal
Business Development Specialist

As a business development specialist, I work with you to find ways to help your business grow. I love connecting people within our community and helping members uncover the unique ways the Kelowna Chamber can support your business grow and achieve your outreach goals. I have a background as an entrepreneur, which gives me an appreciation for the many challenges faced by businesses and organizations.

I'm also deeply passionate about helping our board of directors achieve our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) goals outlined in the Chamber’s strategic plan. For me, fostering inclusivity is the heart of building a stronger, more dynamic business environment. Outside of work, I’m passionate about the beautiful Okanagan environment. Whether it's watching the mesmerizing salmon spawning at Mission Creek, bike riding, or spending time with my lovable dog Pedro (the Chamber's unofficial mascot), I’m always making the most of this stunning region.

Administrative Assistant

I'm often the first point of contact for members and the public and my role touches on many aspects of member relations. When you have a question, I can help you find an answer - whether it's from our team or with a community partner. Before joining the Chamber I worked with the Kelowna Farmers' Market for many years, and I have a background in training & education, finance, and hospitality. When I'm not in the office I enjoy working with textiles and visiting our many local breweries with family and friends.
