Kelowna: The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce launches its call today for nominations of outstanding Top 40 Under 40 applicants for 2026. Ken Carmichael, Partner, Assurance, BDO Canada LLP has enthusiastically backed the program since its inception with the Chamber as presenting sponsor.

The Kelowna Chamber's Top 40 Under 40 program recognizes and honours individuals in the community who take leadership, philanthropy, and business to the next level.

Carmichael said, “I’m thrilled to announce that BDO is once again partnering with the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce to launch this year’s Top 40 Under 40 program. This is our 11th year proudly sponsoring this incredible celebration of emerging leaders across our region, and it’s a perfect year to do it as the Chamber marks its 120th anniversary.”

“Top 40 Under 40 is all about spotlighting the innovators, builders, and change-makers shaping the future of our community. So, if you know someone doing exceptional things — or if that person might be you, now’s the time to nominate.”

Nominations open Monday December 15 at www.kelownacc.awardify.io  Nominations close February 20, 2026.

The final Honourees will be named on April 16 at a media event at the Laurel Packinghouse. And on June 18, the Chamber and the community will celebrate all Honourees for 2026 at Sandhill Wines.

Carmichael, past Chamber President, and unflagging supporter of the program says, “We can’t wait to kick off another amazing year of recognizing the next generation of leaders. We look forward to the community making this milestone year one to remember!”
