Kelowna: Small businesses across the country are shining up their storefronts, bricks or virtual, as they celebrate another year on the small biz economic roller coaster. Small Business Week is held annually to celebrate and support small businesses with resources, networking, and education. The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce is hosting six events over three days between October 21-23, in the national celebration founded by BDC, the Business Development Bank of Canada. Small and medium sized businesses are the backbone of Canada’s economic engine, making up 85% of the country’s enterprises at any one time. Here’s what the Kelowna Chamber is doing:
