Kelowna, BC – The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce will host an all-candidate forum for the upcoming federal election for the five declared candidates in the newly-drawn Kelowna riding on April 17.

The moderated forum will be held at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, Mary Irwin Theatre from 5pm to 7pm. It is open to the public at no charge.

Candidates invited include:

  • Stephen Fuhr, Liberal Party of Canada
  • Tracy Gray, Conservative Party of Canada
  • Trevor McAleese, New Democratic Party
  • Stacey Ponton, People’s Party of Canada
  • Derek Thompson, Green Party of Canada

All candidates will have an opportunity to make open and closing statements as well as give time-limited responses to questions posed by the moderator.

The Kelowna Chamber is collaborating with the Greater Westside Board of Trade which is hosting a candidates event April 16 for the Okanagan Lake West - South Kelowna riding from 6-7:30pm at the Emmanuel Church, West Kelowna.

The Vernon Chamber is hosting an electoral forum on April 17 at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre, from 6:30pm to 8pm for the Lake Country – Vernon – Monashee riding.
