KELOWNA —The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, a national leader in the Chamber movement, today announced that they have moved Dan Rogers into the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Dan has been with the Kelowna Chamber as Executive Director since early 2017 and his move into the position of CEO comes after demonstrating his strong leadership over his tenure guiding the organization successfully through the challenges faced because of the pandemic.

“The change in title recognizes that we are in growth mode and the Board has acknowledged Dan’s skills as a collaborative leader in the Chamber network,” says Chamber Board Chair Pamela Pearson. “We are delighted to have Dan guiding our operations.”

Rogers has more than thirty years of senior leadership experience, including more than a decade as an elected official in local government. Dan’s strategic development and plan execution skills will be an asset as the Kelowna Chamber evolves and continues to play a strong role as part of the BC and Canadian Chamber network.

“I am very excited about our future and pleased to be leading such a talented team,” said Rogers. “I believe, with our provincial and national chamber partners, we are uniquely positioned to accelerate our growth and add even more value to our members and the broader business community in the region.”

The Kelowna Chamber is a member driven organization that is primarily fueled by the investment of businesses and organizations which become members. The Chamber is on its best financial footing in years and continues to grow both in membership and in programs which are aimed at helping enhance the economic prosperity of the region.
