Kelowna: The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce announces its annual call for nominations to its volunteer board of directors.  Nominations close Thursday, February 9, followed by the electronic election of directors by members prior to the Chamber’s AGM in March.

Jeffrey Robinson, Former Chamber President/Chair and Current Chair of the Board Development Committee for 2023-2024 says, “We always are looking to strengthen the Board’s multiple skill sets; this ensures the Chamber’s long-term health and success, and sets the tone for organizational effectiveness, innovation and vision. Our directors are a reflection of our business community: engaged, forward-thinking, professional, and reflect the diversity of Kelowna’s growing business and community organizations.”

Pamela Pearson, who becomes the Chamber Board’s Past President/Chair at the March AGM joins Robinson in the call for nominations: “The Chamber Board is a dynamic team of business professionals making an impact in our community. My experiences over this past nearly-completed year have been truly amazing – I’ve learned so much, I’ve broadened my understanding of local needs and issues, and I’ve made literally hundreds of new, impactful connections. Those relationships will last long after my term is over, for which I’m grateful.”
