Kelowna: The Chamber Accreditation Council of Canada has completed its review of applications for national accreditation and the Kelowna Chamber is one of three from BC that has been re-accredited. The accreditation is the Kelowna Chamber’s third designation in a row, stretching back to its first in 2016. Each accreditation is good for three years.
“Members, partners, and stakeholders of the Kelowna Chamber can have confidence that our Chamber is meeting and exceeding standards in critical areas pivotal to a Chamber’s success. The complex process encompasses fundamental operational and governance structures,” said Pamela Pearson, Chair of the Kelowna Chamber Board. “This is an honour for the Board and a tribute to the dedicated team of professionals that work for the Chamber. We know our members respect our work and our relevance in the community – this stamp of approval makes us realize how high a standard we set – and that we reach.”

“Accreditation is the acknowledgment that member chambers have been successfully evaluated against a rigorous set of national standards and have demonstrated excellence in Chamber management,” said Sheri Somerville, President of the Chamber Accreditation Council of Canada.
The Kelowna Chamber is one of nine chambers across Canada achieving re-accreditation in 2022. Only a dozen or so Chambers in BC are accredited.
