ROGERS COMMUNICATIONS NEWEST PRESIDENT’S CIRCLE MEMBER AT KELOWNA CHAMBER

Kelowna: The Kelowna Chamber is excited to announce a new partnership with Rogers Communications, which has joined the Chamber as one of only a handful of President’s Circle members. Only eight of these foundational partnerships are active in any given year and this membership provides leading organizations an opportunity to promote their business while opening doors which enhance the services available to Chamber members and the local business community.

“We’re delighted to welcome Rogers to our Chamber,” says Jeffrey Robinson, Chamber President. “They have clearly recognized the enormous potential that exists in our city and region and have expressed a desire to work with the Chamber to accelerate our mission of creating a positive economic environment where all can prosper. Rogers recently opened its new Kelowna customer solution centre at the Landmark buildings, bringing 350 new jobs to the local economy by 2021.”

“Our entire Rogers team in BC, including our new Kelowna employees and Rogers for Business team, are excited to join the Kelowna Chamber and to work with the local business community to continue showcasing our commitment to the Okanagan region,” said Rick Sellers, President of BC Region, Rogers Communications. “From our new customer solution centre, to launching 5G in the city, to sponsoring the Winter Market and Kelowna Pride, we are proud to be part of this important community.”

President’s Circle members enable the Chamber to keep its membership rates low for not-for-profits and micro businesses while also enabling the Chamber to provide advocacy to both members and the broader business community.

“We are looking forward to getting to know the growing team at Rogers here in the Okanagan,” says Dan Rogers, Executive Director of the Chamber. “We know that our ability to provide services of value to the business community will be enhanced as a result of the investment from our newest PC member.”
